Nissan 720 Hood Strut Catch and Carb Bowl Vent Hose Holder

I recently finished up the spark plug wire holders and figured I would also tackle making a carb bowl vent hose holder, if anyone else has one missing or damaged since I’m in that area already. My holder seems to sit a bit lower and still close to the accessory drive, and my hose/holder has jumped before resulting in the hose being damaged by the V belt. I think I’m going to locate the hose holder closer to the spark plug wires, or on top of them.

The hood latch holder looks pretty simple. It mounts in a square hole, like the fuel door catch, so I might try something similar and make it install/remove with a 45° turn. If that doesn’t work well it will just be a snap fit install like the original is.
